If you have an autonomous plan, you will need to configure your OpenAI API key to allow the system to use AI services. This configuration is done only once in your profile.
How to configure the API Key
- Access your Evolbot control panel
- Go to your account/profile settings
- Look for the "OpenAI API Key" or "AI Configuration" section
- Paste your API key in the dedicated field
- Save the changes
API Key format
The OpenAI API key always has this format:
- Always starts with
sk- - Followed by a string of alphanumeric characters
- About 50 characters long
- Example:
sk-proj-abc123def456ghi789...
Security
Important: The API key is a very sensitive element:
- Never share it with anyone
- Never publish it in codes or public forums
- If you think it has been compromised, generate a new key on OpenAI
- Evolbot stores it securely and encrypted
