Difference between standard and autonomous plans

Evolbot offers two main types of accounts to adapt to different user needs:

Standard Plans

In standard plans, the cost of AI calls is included in the subscription price:

  • Simplicity: You don't have to worry about configuring API keys or managing separate billing
  • Predictable costs: You pay a fixed monthly fee without surprises
  • Included limits: You have a predetermined number of messages/requests included in the plan
  • No technical configuration: The service is ready to use immediately

Autonomous Plans (Self-Hosted)

In autonomous plans, you pay directly to OpenAI for API usage:

  • Complete control: You directly manage your OpenAI account
  • Variable costs: You pay only for what you actually use
  • Customizable limits: You can set your spending limits on OpenAI
  • Configuration required: You must configure your OpenAI API key

Which to choose?

Choose a standard plan if:

  • You prefer fixed and predictable costs
  • You don't want to manage external accounts
  • You have moderate and regular usage

Choose an autonomous plan if:

  • You already have an OpenAI account or want to manage it directly
  • You expect intensive or highly variable usage
  • You want maximum control over AI costs
